Background

Monte was born in Meridian, MS. After completing college, he was drafted by the L.A. Dodgers. Monte retired from professional baseball in 1999 and opened his own cabinetry business. Monte joined Southeastern Financial Group in 2005. Monte and his wife Emily live with their daughter Cheryl Kaye in Birmingham, AL.
